Allm Africa, Millennium Promise Alliance, and Ghana Health Service have partnered to implement the Join telemedicine technology
Since December 2023, Allm Africa, Millennium Promise Alliance, and Ghana Health Service have partnered to implement the Join telemedicine technology in three districts of Ghana: Amansie South, Bosome Freho, and Ga East, located in the Ashanti and Greater Accra Regions.
The purpose of this implementation is to enhance healthcare access and strengthen the skills of health staff through the use of cutting-edge technologies.
As part of this initiative, 56 health workers in Bosome Freho and 42 in Amansie South were trained in telemedicine and the Join platform in June and July 2024. The trainees included doctors, physician assistants, nurses, and midwives.
